- Tencent Games' Valorant Mobile has finally gone live in China!

After multiple beta tests and a resounding pre-registration campaign, Tencent Games has finally released Valorant Mobile, the 5v5 competitive shooter in Mainland China across both Android and iOS. Currently, the game is available to native Chinese residents. But obviously, there are ways through which global players can also enjoy the game.
In this article, we are going to talk about how you can download and play Valorant Mobile, even if you live outside China. Riot Games’ critically acclaimed tactical hero shooter was initially revealed to be in mobile development back in May 2021 and officially confirmed the next month. Following that, we have had multiple closed betas, gameplay showcases, and teasers from the devs across the last few years.
Step-by-step guide to download Valorant Mobile
As Valorant Mobile launches in Chinda, users around the globe can download and have a look at what the game offers. But, during the installation, some players might face problems due to country restrictions. Please follow the steps given here, and you can install and play Valorant Mobile easily.
Valorant Mobile at launch supports 144 FPS on certain high-end devices, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Besides this, the game supports extreme graphics at 60 and 120 FPS as well and takes up to 8GB of storage space for Android and 10GB for iOS. However, do note that since it’s a China launch, the game does not support English language and you can’t change your language from Chinese.
How to download Valorant Mobile on Android (via Haoyou Kuaidao)
Currently, the option to download is available for the Android platform as an installable .apk file, and there are two ways to approach this.
- Install the Haoyou Kuaidao application by clicking here
- Now open Haoyou Kuaidao and search for Valorant: Operation Primal. You can directly check it from here
- Now, click on Download and wait for some time, as the game is around 1.85 GB in size
- Once the download is complete, a pop-up will open asking to install. Tap on Install
- Wait for some time while the game is being installed, as Valorant Mobile takes up to 7.25 GB of storage space after installing all the files
- Upon loading, the game will ask for additional files to download, and wait for the download to complete
- Before logging in, you will need to link or bind your account. You will need an existing and verified QQ/WeChat account for the same.
- You can now enjoy Valorant Mobile on your Android device
How to download Valorant Mobile on Android (via TapTap CN)
Alternatively, you can also download Valorant Mobile from TapTap’s Chinese Client
- Install the TapTap application’s Chinese Client by clicking here
- Now open TapTap CN and search for Valorant: Operation Primal. You can directly check it from here
- Now, click on Download and wait for some time, as the game is around 1.85 GB in size

How to download Valorant Mobile on iOS
Let us see the steps to down the game on your iOS device.
- Go to the App Store and sign out of your current Apple ID.
- Click on Sign In and choose the option that allows you to create a new Apple ID.
- Fill in China as your region, and agree to the terms and conditions.. Then, click “Next.”
- Skip the payment method and fill in the address form.
- Go to App Store and search Valorant: Operation Primal or click here.
- Download the app and wait for some time while the game is being installed, as it takes up to 10 GB of storage space after installing all the files
- Log in to the game via your existing and verified QQ/WeChat account.
- Now enjoy Valorant Mobile on your iOS device
It should be noted that since Valorant Mobile is region-specific, you will need needing external VPN connection that allows you to connect to the Chinese servers to download and play the game. But be aware of the high-ping and connection issues that you may face while playing the matches.
Additionally, do note, since the game is for Chinese residents exclusively, there is an Age Restriction policy complying with the Chinese gaming rules. To play Valorant Mobile, you must be 18 years or older. Otherwise, you won’t be able to play for extended hours and can only log in on weekends.
